of clean energy generated
💷 What that saves you

This calculator converts your solar panel output into everyday equivalents so you can understand what solar actually delivers.

Assumptions: 420W panels, UK average of 2.66 peak sun hours per day (950 kWh/kWp/year), 85% system efficiency. EV figures use manufacturer WLTP efficiency ratings.

Savings: Based on 50% self-consumption at 24.5p/kWh, with surplus exported at 5.5p/kWh via the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG).

Actual results vary by location, roof orientation, shading, and usage patterns. These are UK averages for illustration.
